In Autumn 2010, Black Isle Seafoods of Barcaldine, Argyll, Scotland, instructed us to design and install a Depuration system capable of depurating three tonnes of mussels per cycle with the facility to expand to five tonnes if required.

 

Each stack has a capacity of 1 tonne of mussels.  The U.V. sterilizer is capable of handling expansions. The system also contains  a water chilling and aeration system which will improve oxygen levels and stabilise temperatures during warmer conditions.
